Dynamic Formative Language Assessment for ELLs

Academy Description:

This academy will guide teachers in the process of using the WIDA English Language Development (ELD) Standards to develop and integrate formative language assessments into standards-based content curriculum. Participants will create language targets designed to measure academic language growth and identify appropriate language tools and supports for varying ELL proficiency levels. Key to this process will be opportunities to engage in collegial discussions and collaborative learning.
