W-APT Workshop
Audience: Test Administrators, District Test Coordinators
Recommended Number of Participants: 10-50
Duration: One day
This workshop provides an overview of the Kindergarten and grades 1-12 WIDA ACCESS Placement Test. Participants will be introduced to the test administration and logistics for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking parts.*
*Additional scoring practice and calibration is highly recommended for successful administration
The goal will be to prepare participants to become W-APT Test Administrators and familiarize them with available resources.
Participants will be able to:
- Describe procedures for test administration and test security for grades 1-12 W-APT Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing parts
- Describe procedures for test administration and test security for Kindergarten W-APT Speaking/Listening, Reading, and Writing parts
- Identify additional W-APT resources
