WIDA MODEL Workshop
Audience: Test Administrators, District Test Coordinators
Recommended Number of Participants: 10-50
Duration: One day
This workshop provides an overview of the Kindergarten and grades 1-12 WIDA MODEL assessment. Participants will be introduced to the test administration and logistics for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking parts.*
*Additional scoring practice and calibration is highly recommended for successful administration
The goal will be to prepare participants to become WIDA MODEL Test Administrators and familiarize them with available resources.
Participants will be able to:
- Describe procedures for test administration and test security for WIDA MODEL for Grades 1-12 Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing parts
- Describe procedures for test administration and test security for WIDA MODEL for Kindergarten Listening/Speaking, Reading, and Writing parts
- Describe how WIDA MODEL can be used as a benchmark assessment
- Identify additional WIDA MODEL resources
