Data Mining Workshop

Audience: Teams of educators and administrators
Recommended Number of Participants: Up to 35 for one facilitator, Up to 75 for two facilitators
Duration: Four to six days divided into two or three working sessions

Participants will be introduced to the data analysis cycle and apply this process to various sets of data. Participants will have time to analyze data, identify areas of improvement, and develop plan for implementation including goals, activities, resources, and timelines.

Participants will be able to:

  • Use data analysis in identifying goals for improvement plans
  • Apply the five steps of the data analysis cycle to ACCESS for ELLs data
  • Use ACCESS for ELLs data to analyze for language growth, demographics and/or targeted areas by the teams
  • Create a plan for implementation and monitoring

Customizations include:

  • Source of data (e.g. specific domains, language growth, demographics)

Pricing

$4000 for the first day and $2500 for additional consecutive days
Price includes facilitator time, travel expenses, lodging, and meals

Hosting Requirements

  • Secure meeting space, including A/V equipment
  • Provide handouts
  • Communicate logistics with participants
  • Ensure a minimum of 10 participants
