WIDA Standards in International Contexts
A New WIDA Project
WIDA is exploring the use of academic language standards in international schools that provide academic instruction in English. To this end, WIDA's 2012 amplified ELD standards are being reviewed by classroom teachers from around the globe to determine how they can be implemented in international contexts. Accompanying resources will provide additional information and tools to aid in the development of standards-based instruction and assessment for English language learners in academic contexts globally.
