1. Will Colorado be administering online or paper ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 in 2015-2016?
For the 2016-2017 testing via paper or online is at the discretion of the district.
2. Will 4th and 5th grade ELLs on the Writing test respond by handwriting or keyboarding?
In Colorado 4th and 5th grade Writing defaults to keyboarding. Handwriting response books need to ordered during the additional materials order window.
3. What type of training is available for ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 for the three roles of those participating in delivery - Test Administrators, Test Coordinators, Tech Coordinators?
The ACCESS for ELLs State Specific Information (the Goldenrod Sheet) is now available on CDE's website; click here to access it.
CDE will host two ACCESS for ELLs webinars covering state specific information (the goldenrod sheet). Both webinars will contain the same information and will be held on Thursday, November 17th at 11:00 a.m. and Monday, November 28th at 2:30 p.m. The URL was sent in a weekly DAC email. A recording of the webinar will be posted on CDE's website by December 1, 2016.
Note: These webinars are not training webinars; it is expected that participants will have attended one of the in-person trainings or have completed WIDA's online training modules.
