Do I need to retake the training quizzes if I passed them in a previous year?

Yes. Speaking portion of the training must be retaken annually. Log In to take the test administrator training quizzes.

Do I need to show proof of my passing quiz grades (80%) from previous years?

  • State Specific Guidance for ACCESS for ELLs 2.0

    1. Will New Mexico be administering online or paper ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 in 2015-2016?

For 2015-2016, except for Kindergarten, which continues to be a paper-based kit, ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 will be an online assessment in New Mexico.

    2. What type of training is available for ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 for the three roles of those participating in delivery - Test Administrators, Test Coordinators, Tech Coordinators?

An overview of ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 has been provided during all District Test Coordinator trainings.

All WIDA training materials are available virtually through web-based modules and online resources. Training information for the three ACCESS for ELLs 2.0 roles (Test Coordinator, Test Administrator, and Technology Coordinator) is available on the ACCESS 2.0 Preparation Resources webpage. Users may select their role (or all roles) to see currently available and upcoming resources.

    3. Will 4th and 5th grade ELLs on the Writing test respond by handwriting or keyboarding?

New Mexico’s 4th and 5th grade students will keyboard their Writing responses into the system.
